Notifying the Public of Rights Under Title VI

Forward Pinellas, as the Pinellas County Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), does not discriminate on the basis of race, color or national origin in administration of its programs, activities or services. Any person who believes she or he has been aggrieved by any unlawful discriminatory practices under Title VI may file a complaint with the Forward Pinellas/the MPO.

A complainant may file a complaint directly with the Federal Transit Administration by filing a complaint with the Office of Civil Rights, Attention: Title VI Program Coordinator, East Building, 5th Floor – TCR, 1200 New Jersey Ave., SE, Washington DC 20590.

Public Notice Concerning Forward Pinellas, in its role as the Pinellas County Metropolitan Planning Organization, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program

In accordance with requirements of the U.S. Department of Transportation as set forth in 49 C.F.R. Part 26, as amended, Forward Pinellas, in its role as the Pinellas County Metropolitan Planning Organization, hereby notifies the public that it is recommending a Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal, whereby 3.9% of all applicable professional services and procurement contracts during Fiscal Years 2017-2019, beginning October 1, 2017 and ending September 30, 2019 involve DBE firms. The DBE Program is a Federal Program designed for business owners deemed socially and economically disadvantaged. More information is also available on-line at forwardpinellas.org.
