  • September 11, 2019, 1 p.m., 315 Court St., Clearwater:
      • Land Use Amendments to the Countywide Plan:
        • CW19-14: This proposed amendment is submitted by the City of Largo and seeks to amend property totaling approximately 7.2 acres from Residential Very Low to Residential Low Medium. The subject property is currently being utilized as single-family residence. The owner of this property would like to redevelop the site into a single-family subdivision with a maximum density of 7.5 units per acre, totaling no more than 54 units.
        • CW19-15: This proposed amendment is submitted by the City of Safety Harbor and seeks to amend property totaling approximately 1.74 acres from Residential Low Medium to Public/Semi-Public. The subject property is currently vacant and was purchased by the City of Safety Harbor with the intent to use the property to expand their public works facility in the future. No development proposals have been budgeted or proposed at this time.
        • CW19-16:  This proposed amendment is submitted by the City of Tarpon Springs and seeks to amend property totaling approximately 0.33 acres from Office to Residential Medium. The proposed amendment area currently has an existing single-family residence on the property. The applicant intends to subdivide the parcel and construct a second single-family residence.
        • CW19-17: This proposed amendment is submitted by the City of Safety Harbor and seeks to amend property totaling approximately 0.5 acre from Residential Low Medium to Recreation/Open Space. The subject property is currently vacant land that was purchased by the City of Safety Harbor with the intent to keep the property in a passive, natural state.
        • CW19-18: This proposed amendment is submitted by the City of Safety Harbor and seeks to amend the local character district designation of approximately 0.62 acre of property from the Community Town Center Character District to the Public Character District. The subject property amendment is inclusive of a broader update to the local Community Redevelopment Plan, also known as the Downtown Master Plan. These changes include text amendments, which are consistent with the Countywide Rules, to revise maximum heights for building and structures in portions of the Community Town Center, Public, and Traditional Neighborhood Development Character Districts, and update the redevelopment objectives and Pinellas County Tax Increment Financing eligibility policies. The subject property’s designation on the Countywide Plan Map will remain as Activity Center.
      • Transportation Improvement Program (TIP):
        • Modification: This proposed TIP modification seeks to incorporate adjusted planning funds to match the FY 18/19-19/20 UPWP into the FY 19/20-23/24 TIP. This modification is for funds that were not used in FY 2018 that are being carried over into FY 2020 UPWP and were accounted for in the development of the FY 18/19 – 19/20 UPWP.
        • Amendment: The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is requesting that Forward Pinellas, in its role as the metropolitan planning organization, approve the Annual Roll-Forward Amendment to the adopted Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) to reconcile year one of the TIP with the FDOT Work Program. The FY 2019/20 through 2023/24 TIP will take effect on October 1, 2019. This roll forward amendment is a routine annual process to assist Forward Pinellas in identifying projects that were not committed in the previous Fiscal Year (2018/19) and have automatically rolled into FY 2019/20 of the FDOT Work Program.
