    • Land Use Amendments to the Countywide Plan:
      • Case CW 18-05 – This proposed amendment is submitted by Pinellas County and seeks to amend a property totaling approximately 0.3 acres from Recreation/Open Space to Residential Low Medium. This amendment qualifies as a Type A subthreshold amendment because it is less than ten acres in size and meets the balancing criteria. The subject property is vacant. The proposed use is one single family home. If approved, this amendment will be consistent with Pinellas County’s Comprehensive Plan.
      • Case CW 18-06 – This proposed amendment is submitted by Safety Harbor and seeks to amend a property totaling approximately 7.3 acres from Residential Low Medium and Preservation to Public/Semi-Public and Preservation. The subject property contains a large pond, which is proposed to remain. If approved, this amendment will be consistent with Safety Harbor’s Comprehensive Plan.
      • Case CW 18-07 – This proposed amendment is submitted by Clearwater and seeks to amend a property totaling approximately 0.2 acres from Residential Low Medium to Office. This amendment qualifies as a Type A subthreshold amendment because it is less than ten acres in size and meets the balancing criteria. The subject property is vacant. If approved, this amendment will be consistent with Clearwater’s Comprehensive Plan.
      • Case CW 18-08 – This proposed amendment is submitted by Clearwater and seeks to amend a property totaling approximately 0.1 acres from Office to Public/Semi-Public. This amendment qualifies as a Type A subthreshold amendment because it is less than ten acres in size and meets the balancing criteria. The subject property is vacant. An accessory structure to the Veterans of Foreign Wars building, which is located adjacent to the lot property being amended, is being proposed for the site. If approved, this amendment will be consistent with Clearwater’s Comprehensive Plan.
      • Case CW 18-09 – This proposed amendment is submitted by Clearwater and seeks to amend a property totaling approximately 7.5 acres from Recreation/Open Space to Public/Semi-Public. The subject property is primarily vacant and has a solid waste transfer station in center of remainder of site. The proposed use is a new solid waste transfer station. If approved, this amendment will be consistent with Clearwater’s Comprehensive Plan.
      • Case CW 18-10 – This proposed amendment is submitted by Clearwater and seeks to amend a property totaling approximately 1.3 acres from Residential High and Residential Low Medium to Office. This amendment qualifies as a Type A subthreshold amendment because it is less than ten acres in size and meets the balancing criteria. The subject property contains a vacant medical clinic/office building. If approved, this amendment will be consistent with Clearwater’s Comprehensive Plan.
      • Case CW 18-11 – This proposed amendment is submitted by the City of Dunedin and seeks to amend a property totaling approximately 2.4 acres from Residential Low Medium to Residential Medium. This amendment qualifies as a Type A subthreshold amendment because it is less than ten acres in size and meets the balancing criteria. The subject property contains mobile homes and the proposed use is townhomes. If approved, this amendment will be consistent with Dunedin’s Comprehensive Plan.
      • Case CW 18-12 – This proposed amendment is submitted by Clearwater and seeks to amend a property totaling approximately 555.8 acres from Public/Semi-Public, Retail & Services, Residential Low Medium and Activity Center to Activity Center. The City of Clearwater proposes to amend their Clearwater Downtown Redevelopment Plan by amending the intensity, density and maximum height for all Character Districts within the Downtown Planning Area and expanding the boundary of the Activity Center by 10.9 acres.  If approved, this amendment will be consistent with Clearwater’s Comprehensive Plan.
