SUMMARY:49th Street Safety Study - Public Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Date: July 17\, 2024 \nTime: 6:00- 8:00 pm EST \nLocation: Lealman Exchange Community Center (5175 45th St N\, St Petersburg\, FL) \nAbout: Pinellas County and Forward Pinellas have partnered on a safety study for two segments of the 49th Street corridor. The first area of focus is located between 40th Ave N and 62 Ave N and the second between Ulmerton Rd and Roosevelt Blvd. The study\, funded through the federal Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) program\, aims to develop infrastructure improvement recommendations that address roadway safety issues on 49th Street. Project recommendations are being developed through engineering analysis based on the evaluation of current conditions and concerns brought forward by the Community. \nThis Public Workshop will be held to solicit community input on preliminary study findings and in the development of project recommendations. Participation in the Workshop is open to all who are interested.
