Forward Pinellas is issuing this call to solicit applications for funding from a variety of competitive grant programs. Local governments are invited to submit applications for any of the funding programs listed below, by providing the information requested on the referenced applications.
Complete Streets Grant Funding
Up to $100,000 will be available in Fiscal Year 2021 for concept planning projects and up to $1 million will be available for construction projects, to be included in the 2022/23 – 2026/27 Florida Department of Transportation Work Program. Forward Pinellas will be making our staff available to provide technical assistance throughout the application period.

Transportation Alternatives Grant Funding
Transportation Alternatives is a federal funding program that can be used for pedestrian and bicycle projects, as well as infrastructure to improve non-driver access to transit. Applications received will be competitively scored using the criteria included in the application packet. The application addendum includes the program requirements and criteria.
TA Application
Multimodal Transportation Priority Projects
Projects included on the Multimodal Priority Project list will be eligible for a variety of state and federal funding resources. The projects solicited for this program will include, but not be limited to, roadway capacity improvements, roadway operational improvements, transit capital projects and technological investments that improve mobility. Projects will be competitively scored using criteria included in the application packet.
