Downtown St. Petersburg (DTSP) is one of Florida’s most unique and vibrant communities, with incredible amenities for those who live, work and play here. Help us ensure that our transportation network meets community needs for improved access, connectivity and mobility.
We’re looking for solutions to make DTSP safe, efficient and accessible to walkers, bikers, drivers and everyone in between.
The study officially launched in early 2020 and is scheduled to conclude in summer 2021. The anticipated project schedule, including approximate timeframes for all outreach, will be evaluated throughout the study to follow social distancing recommendations.
This summer, we conducted an online community survey to gather initial input. Approximately 500 responses were received (link to the results). Now we are reaching out for additional input on specific issues, challenges and problems to help identify a vision for mobility in DTSP. In the upcoming months, we will establish a vision and identify performance measures to use to evaluate potential improvement projects. Once the evaluation is complete, we will reach out to the community again to help us prioritize projects for future planning, design or implementation.
