Forward Pinellas is governed by a 13-member board of elected officials. These officials represent municipal governments, the Board of County Commissioners and the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority. The Local Coordinating Board (LCB) oversees the Transportation Disadvantaged (TD) Program, which provides transportation assistance to economically and physically disadvantaged citizens. The TCC makes recommendations on a variety of planning issues based on their technical merit. Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability, or family status.
The actions of the CAC are guided by its vision for “a community-driven, modern transportation system that is safe, provides equitable access, and efficient mobility options in support of a sustainable, healthy, livable, and economically vibrant region.” Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability, or family status.
