Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) provides a new opportunity for communities to grow strategically around transportation options, promoting walkability, equitable access, and better overall quality of life. It is defined by the Center for Transit-Oriented Development as a type of development that typically includes mixed-use, such as residential, commercial, and office uses, with pedestrian amenities and within a half-mile of public transportation. Please join Forward Pinellas for a Transit-Oriented Development Knowledge Exchange Series exploring the benefits and challenges of incorporating TOD in Florida. Speakers will be providing insight into their experiences with TOD and planning for transit through land use decisions. Come join in on the discussion!
