Free and family-friendly! Bike Your City is a guided, slow-paced, family-friendly bike ride that showcases the many beautiful sights and wonderful amenities around Pinellas County.
This bike ride celebrates Trails Day and highlights our partner city for 2026 – the City of Tarpon Springs. On this guided and slow bike tour, you will learn about roadway safety and trail etiquette while exploring the beautiful sights and amenities of Tarpon Springs.
Complimentary BYC t-shirts will be available on the morning of the event on a first-come, first-served basis! A limited number of free helmets will be available before the ride, fitted by certified helmet fitters.
WHAT: Bike Your City 2026 – Tarpon Springs
WHEN: Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 9:00a.m. – 11:00a.m.
WHERE: North Safford Park, 131 Athenian Way, Tarpon Springs, FL 34689
Space is limited. Registration is required.
Registration opens at 8:30 am at North Safford Park. The opening ceremony will start at 9:00 AM. The tour will start immediately following the opening ceremony.
Please Note:
Parents or guardians must register their child in advance and the child must be supervised by parents or guardians at all times during the entire event. Registration begins at 8:30am on the day of the event. Participants 15 years old and younger are required to wear a helmet in accordance with Florida Law. All participants are encouraged to wear a helmet. A limited number of free helmets will be available before the ride, fitted by Forward Pinellas’s certified helmet fitters.
All bike riders must be able to complete the multi-mile bike ride physically and safely. Riding facilities can vary including wide roads with street parking, narrow neighborhood streets, shared-use paths, and crossing of major roads. Participants should expect to encounter other people walking, bicycling, and driving during the ride.
