Forward Pinellas is hiring a Principal Planner to serve on our Special Projects Team.
- Would be primarily responsible for managing various planning studies from scope development through implementation, maintaining existing partnerships with internal and external partners and stakeholders, and developing new relationships with non-traditional agencies and interest groups
- The ideal candidate will have a strong multi-disciplinary background in project management and have an interest in redevelopment policy, environmental resilience, visioning and corridor planning, safety, citizen engagement, grants development, transit, and intergovernmental coordination
- The ability to prepare a variety of written and illustrative materials such as research reports, planning studies, white papers, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) maps, and qualitative/quantitative analyses is highly desirable
