The Safe Streets Pinellas Survey for the Safe Streets Pinellas Action Plan Update is now open!
We are taking steps to make our streets safer, more walkable, and more connected for everyone who lives, works, and travels in our County. As we update our Safety Action Plan, Safe Streets Pinellas, we want to better understand where and why serious crashes happen and how we can prevent them. To do this – we need your help!
Improving Roadway Safety in Pinellas County
The Safe Streets Pinellas Action Plan serves as a road map to reach the goal of zero fatalities and serious injuries on Pinellas County roadways. The Action Plan was first adopted in 2021 through a data-driven and collaborative approach with the help of a multi-disciplinary Task Force and community input. It is intended to be a living document that is updated periodically with new data, refined crash reduction strategies, and new strategies and technologies that have been proven to reduce fatal and serious injury crashes.
Now is the Time – Share Your Thoughts!
With this short survey you tell us about your priorities for transportation safety. Using an interactive map, you can also pinpoint specific locations where you have concerns or that you have seen noticeable improvements.

Why We Need to Hear From You
Crash data does not always capture the full picture of safety on our roads and that’s why your feedback on your experience traveling throughout Pinellas County can make a difference. Your everyday experiences, where you feel safety can be improved, where you see close calls, or where improvements are needed, are essential to shaping meaningful change. By sharing your concerns and ideas, you help us prioritize the solutions that matter most to you. Your feedback will contribute to the recommendations and investments we consider as part of this Safety Action Plan.
