Check out the Forward Pinellas Online Trails Map!
Did you know there are more than 2000 miles of trails, sidewalks and bike lanes in Pinellas County? And many of them have restaurants, businesses and beautiful sights along the way! Whether you want to travel by foot or on bike, Forward Pinellas has you covered.
Our online Bicycle Lanes, Sidewalks & Trails Web Map can help you plan and enjoy your journey. You can quickly view the various trails, paths, bike lanes, and even equestrian trails, available throughout Pinellas County on any device. You can also zoom in to your community to see what is located near you and how to connect to nearby destinations.
A key principle in our planning efforts at Forward Pinellas is to connect people and places within a 20-minute trip on bicycle or on foot. The success of these “20-minute neighborhoods” depends on having safe, comfortable and convenient sidewalks, trails and bike facilities to get you where you need to go. So, we are constantly working to enhance our bicycle lanes, sidewalks, and trails network. With this Web Map, you can even view and interact with a range of existing and proposed bicycle and pedestrian facilities throughout Pinellas County, and stay up to date on how we’re supporting your community’s “20-minute neighborhood” needs.
Whether going for a short walk by the water, or enjoying a family bike ride to your local business, the Bicycle Lanes, Sidewalks & Trails Web Map is the best way to get started with your journey across Pinellas County.
trouble understanding your map ,…seems to indicate there is a trail on gulf blvd south of walsingham ??
Bert, we’ll confirm, but that looks like the shared walk/bike facility through the Narrows and Indian Shores that has the drainage problems FDOT is working now to correct.
Hi Bert! I was able to confirm that we believe this is a bike lane that is not designated. Please let me know if you have any other questions and we’ll be happy to help!
